MANUFACTURING - Giving a Laser Cartridge New Life.
I. First, we start with an empty cartridge shell that's only been used
once. Exactly the same kinds of shells used by
Canon, Apple, Lexmark, Hewlett Packard and IBM.
II. Next, we prepare the most important laser printer component, the corona
wire assembly (in some models, a PCR or Primary
Charge Roller) with a high-frequency ultrasonic
cleaning to remove any unseen debris or
impurities.
III. Then we install the assembly. To achieve our renowned
"better-than-OEM quality," all Rhinotek corona
wire assemblies are pre-certified, pre-inspected
and pre-tested before installation. We even
examine and test the spring, screw, gear and
grommet.
IV. The photosensitive drum goes in next. This is the part that transfers
information from the computer to the printed
page. To ensure maximum drum life, we use only
drums with the highest quality, highest
resolution and hardest surface. This helps
prevent a "mid life crisis" or failure and
guarantees perfect print quality for the entire
print cycle.
V. After the drum, the developing rollers go in. These transfer toner
to the drum's surface. We use only
quality-checked, heavy-duty developing rollers.
We also adjust the steel metering blade to a
10,000th of an inch tolerance to help ensure
consistent, highly precise images and text.
VI. Time to fill 'er up. Our high-quality "graphics grade" toner is
scientifically matched to the cartridge's other
heavy duty components and the unit is filled up
completely - not 90% or 95%, like some
manufacturers do to cut costs. It's this step
that gives our users consistently higher page
yields (more printed pages per cartridge) than
the OEMs. After filling, the cartridge is sealed
to ensure "leak-free" shipping, handling and
installation. The unit is now ready for testing.
VII. Only Rhinotek performs an actual "live" in-printer test to ensure flawless
operation. To further cut their own costs (and a
few corners, if you ask us) the OEM printer
manufacturers completely skip this test. But at
Rhinotek we test every toner cartridge by printing
several test pages.
It's this proven, meticulous quality control that gives us the confidence to
offer a 100% SATISFACTION MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
with every replacement laser cartridge.
It's also why, for quality and dependability, it's tough to beat a Rhino
